- Overreacting to stress—or staying stressed far longer than the situation calls for
- Feeling urgent about everything, even small things
- Replaying conversations after they’re over
- Ruminating, overanalyzing, overprocessing, trying to “figure it out”
- Catastrophizing or jumping to worst-case scenarios
